All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go…but to bed!

My whole life, my mom has been on my case about wearing decent, nice-looking pajamas. I’ve been quite content wearing one of the old, oversized t-shirts from my collection of gift tees from various people’s trips, bars I worked at and went to, and colleges I never went to; paired up with pajama bottoms I actually might have spent money on. Just recently though, after coming to the realization that I am in pajamas ALL day long, and in a sense, ARE my work clothes, I decided it was time to invest in sleepwear. Still not being able to bring myself to spend REAL money on clothes that would never see the (outside) light of day, I went to Marshall’s and found incredible deals I must say, on name brand, good-quality, really cute pajamas.

I feel like a real person! The days are few and far between that I dress cute for anything since I’m home 85% of the time. And if 85% of my life I’m wearing worn out, drab, 4 sizes too big for me, clothes, I kind of forget how it feels to be a “girl”.

So tonight, as I write this, I am dressed up in my cute, little pajamas, and realize why my mom has been pushing a night wardrobe makeover all these years. But mom, I think it’s time I pick out my own pajamas.

I have a tendency to do the same thing...in the summer I wear odd t-shirts (like a tootsie roll pop shirt or supergirl one) and in the winter I live in a Penn State sweatshirt. I have no idea where I got this shirt from nor do I know anyone who actually attended Penn State, but that doesn't stop me from living in it?!

I think I should head over to Marshall's this week :\

Marshall's rocks. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I have a Snoopy Duke University shirt that's probably like 20 years (I'm so old!)old. I WISH I had gone to Duke!
