- T.V. is the root of all evil.
- Pacifiers are bad.
- Record everything in baby book.
- Read bedtime story every night.
- Keep all electronics away from child.
- Expose child to daycare situations to gradually build autonomy.
- Spend a month picking out perfect crib.
- Get involved in community with baby: i.e. Mom’s groups, Mommy and Me activities, classes.
- Spending $180 on Laura Ashley Pack n’ Play is worth it.
- Career is number one priority.
After
- Baby Einstein on repeat play.
- Call State of Emergency in pacifier-less situations.
- Haven’t opened baby book since before my daughter was born.
- Hiding books before having to read Dr. Seuss’ “One Fish, Two Fish...” for the 200th time.
- Baby has her own remote.
- Avoid daycare at all costs.
- Crib is simply part of nursery decor.
- Lucky if we get out of our pajamas all day.
- Pack ‘n Play serves as Living Room storage for pillows and comforters.
- Being a parent is my career.

seriously - a day does not go by that I don't feel guilty about not writing in that dang thing - I'm going to have to make up stuff by the time I get to it!
A few months ago I cracked it open and tried to guesstimate her 1st year of height/weight. Every month I would just increase everything by one or two inches/lbs.
I figure 20 years from now I won't remember doing this...or so I'm hoping :\
