Blog Party '08

I'm new to the whole blogging thing and don't really know what I'm doing exactly except having a blast meeting other Restless Housewives and Mothers. I started my website/blog for a different reason entirely, which I'm sure sounds familiar to many of you, and have become a complete blog addict which I know also sounds familiar to many of you.

What amazes me is how huge the blogging population is! I feel like I've entered a whole new underground world. I mean, I knew about MySpace etc., but I didn't "get it". It's really great how "blogging" gives individuals a voice and a little world away from the real world we live in, and a tool to bitch and moan about it express ourselves with.

I'm about to go a "blog party" hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom. From what I gather, it's a 7 day online party where women (only - I like it already) hop around and check out each other's blogs. I've been seeing ads for it, was hesitant to try it and decided I had nothing to lose and that I might as well check it out. How great is it to go to a party in your pajamas with no makeup, while sitting on the couch?! At 37, with an 18 month old and nothing in my closet that fits anymore - it's totally up my alley!

Anyway, if you're reading this, you shouldn't be! You should go too!
